Dear Heart

Time has come to say good-bye,
Tears are falling from my eye,
Thou its not, what we both want,
Time has come for us to part,
Years have gone by, fast for us,
We had good times, bad times, a bunch,
Thou our hearts no longer ,beat the same,
We can't keep playing this game.
This game of love is not for me,
I am sick and tired, it's time to be free,
Set me free, Oh Please! Please! do,
Leave with grace, and without a trace,
I Love You. as, I always have,
But I can no longer stand this pain,
It's best we go, now, our separate ways,
Even thou, I will love you, Always.

That was aweome. Excellent write!
That was a very powerful poem. It captured the emotional part of breaking up very beautifully. Nowadays, you don't see many things like that, considering most people don't really understand love, being surrounded by all the sex-related rap music and TV shows that revolves around the topic. I don't know if you value the opinions of a 13-year old, but if you do, I really think that was a very inspiring poem. It was also nice that the rhyming didn't get in the way of the message. Nice work. :)
